She holds a Master of Science in Marine Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Since founding GHS Environmental in 2010, Dana has led complex projects involving groundwater resource development, water treatment systems, environmental assessments, aquifer characterization, wetlands, and water quality analysis. She is recognized for her expertise in water use permitting, environmental resource permitting, groundwater and surface water investigations, and managing high-profile projects for municipalities, utilities, private developers, and industrial clients.
Known as one of the first water rights brokers within the Southwest Florida Water Management District, Dana has helped pioneer innovative approaches to water allocation and permitting. Her technical leadership, regulatory expertise, and commitment to data-driven solutions have established GHS Environmental as a trusted partner in water resource management throughout Florida.

He has led several NSF-funded research projects in Antarctica designed to develop basic knowledge on the movement of fuel spills in ice, snow and frozen soil, and to provide information on remediation options for contaminated soil.
He was also involved in several projects in Alaska looking at remediation of contamination ranging from examination of beach cleaners used to remove crude oil from the Exxon Valdez disaster to surfactant-aided soil washing to remove creosote and pentachlorophenol used in wood preservation.
